Job Title: HVAC Controls Sales Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable HVAC Controls Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling HVAC control systems and solutions to contractors, dealers, and end-users. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems, excellent sales skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients.
- Evaluate and understand the HVAC control needs of customers.
- Develop and present sales proposals and technical presentations to clients.
- Recommend appropriate HVAC control systems and equipment based on customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers before and after sales.
- Stay up-to-date with product trends and advancements in the HVAC industry.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Participate in sales forecasting and strategic planning.
- Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HVAC sales or a similar technical sales role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems and applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software.
- Knowledge of motor control and VFD applications.
- Experience with HVAC system installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
